Please take care of yourself 💛
You don’t need me to tell you that life is hard.
You’re familiar with disappointment, frustration, anger, sadness, grief.
But, no matter is happening in our lives, there are still opportunities for joy. For love. For peace and hope and laughter and connection.
And that starts with taking care of ourselves.
Listen to your body.
Drink more water.
Eat another vegetable.
Go to bed a little earlier.
Move your body in a way that feels good.
Tune into your spirit.
Pick up your pen and journal, starting and ending with gratitude.
Talk with a friend you know will hold space for you.
Pull a tarot card if that’s your jam.
Do some EFT Tapping.
Meditate.
Do yoga.
Whatever will make you feel seen, valued, and loved.
Because feeling good is always an inside job.
And the world needs you.
We need you.
We need YOU.
There’s no one else in the world exactly like you.
No one else with your combination of gifts and strengths and experiences
Who can do what you do in the way that you do.
No one else shines like you do and brings what you bring into the world.
But you can’t shine your brightest when you’re not taking care of you.
Please take care of yourself.
Please be kind to yourself.
You deserve it.
