It’s no secret that I love to journal.
My journaling practice is one that supports and sustains me,
Helps me meet myself where I’m at each day,
Helps me see the bigger picture.
And of all the journaling I do,
My end-of-year reflection process is probably my favorite.
It’s my opportunity to consider the year:
What went well.
Where I grew.
What I want to carry forward.
What I want to leave behind.
It’s my chance to celebrate myself
For all I did, who I became,
To recognize my little actions
Weren’t as little as I thought after all.
And it’s my opportunity to look forward,
To decide what I want,
Who I want to be,
And how to make it happen.
I’m not finished yet.
So much is still unfolding for me -
(I suspect 2024 still has some surprises up her sleeve.)
And I’m excited to see what else comes up
In the next eight days of the year.
But one thing I know is true:
Change is coming.
It’s starting with this newsletter.
Moving forward, I will no longer be including journal prompts
In this version of the newsletter.
Instead, I will now be offering a special subscription
To bring you the journal prompts you’ve been asking for.
You’ll receive a prompt a day,
Carefully curated to bring you in, around, and through
A different topic each month.
Your subscription will not only provide you
With the prompts you want to keep your journaling fresh and directed,
The emails will also serve as gentle accountability,
Reminding you that journaling is indeed a thing you can do.
I hope these will serve you well, my friend.
Please know I’m grateful for you,
For your support,
For your encouragement and engagement,
For how you are making the world a better place,
Just by being you.
